THE AUSSIE VERSION OF ‘THE BACHELOR’ IS COMING

Attn: All the single ladies (and one lucky single man).
TV of a reality persuasion bites, and we can look forward to an Australian version of The Bachelor hitting our screens later this year. Network Ten will house the dramality, with hopes of actualising successes akin to the US equivalent that garnered a record 10.8 million viewers for the ‘final rose’ episode.
The premise is the same: the chosen bachelor gets to gallivant about with a group of bachelorettes, progressively culling until he finds his Juliet. It’s some modern day Shakespeare shit at the helm of voyeurism and you can be a part of it. Applicants are currently being screened, so if you believe in a thing called love, head to dating.castasugar.com.
Here’s the criteria:
You must be single
You must be genuinely looking for love
You must be aged 21 to 38
Have two recent photos (one full-length and one headshot)
You must be available for the shoot period for approximately 11 weeks from late June to September.
Closing date for applications is Friday, 24 May 2013 at 6pm (EST)
