As you could probably imagine, PEDESTRIAN.TV are still reeling from Luke Toki being voted off. It’s a sensitive, very shitty subject.

As you could also probably imagine, Luke’s recent sit-down with The Project had us reaching for the tissue (and toilet) paper once more. It’s a tear-jerker, that’s for sure.
He spoke about his daughter being diagnosed with cystic fibrosis right before he went on the show:
“[My partner and I] actually got tested and we were all negative, so until they did the deeper test did they realise that I’m a carrier.”
“We just had to deal with that at the time… We got her home just before I went on Survivor and yeah, I went out there, and that’s why it was such an emotional ride for me.”
In response to his GoFundMe campaign, which has already raised more than $290,000, he said, “I get a bit teary when I think about it… It’s extremely humbling. I’m the first returnee and I feel like I had a lot of weight on my shoulders to perform and do well, and I have. Much love to everyone who has donated.”
“Going straight to the casino…” he joked.
So would he head back for a third time? “I don’t know, man. Like, it’s really taxing… It’s extremely taxing on the body, extremely taxing on the mind. I’m a family man. I’ve got kids at home… So, yeah, I’ll pretty much be signing up.”
My heart can’t handle this.

On last night’s episode of Survivor Pia was forced to make a super tough decision – throw Luke a lifeline to secure his spot next to her in the finale – or send her friend packin’. The result was a very emotional farewell for the much-loved ‘King of the Jungle’. pic.twitter.com/PgMnCJviO2
