Well, this is upsetting: your boyfriend (and mine) Idris Elba has gone and got married, in a secret ceremony in Morocco, to his extremely gorgeous model fiancee Sabrina Dhowe. Rude.
According to British Vogue, the couple’s luxe ceremony was held at the Ksar Char Bagh hotel, a small but lavish spot with lush gardens, in Marrakesh on Friday.
Idris and Sabrina met in London in 2017 when he was shooting his film The Mountain Between Us, and the pair got engaged in February this year.
Their weddings celebrations will reportedly be spread over three days, including a wild rehearsal dinner on Thursday. People mag reports that “there was a huge festive party with camels and fire dancers and dancing,” according to a “source” (their wildest dreams, presumably).
Saturday (Morocco time) will involve an all-white post-wedding party, because why the hell not. They’re rich, they’re beautiful, they’re in love – who’s to stop ’em!
Vogue reports that Dhowre wore two custom Vera Wang dresses for her big day, and Elba was in a bespoke Oswald Boateng suit. Oh well. There’s always *checks notes*… Leonardo DiCaprio, I guess?
