Sophie Turner might now be married to and very much in love with Joe Jonas, but about 10-months before the happy couple met, Sophie tried to score a date with Matthew Perry.

The 23-year old confessed in an appearance in the video ‘#BehindtheTweets’ for Twitter Thursday, where she explained her thinking behind a bunch of Tweets she’d posted on the site.
“Holy Balls,” said the Tweet in question, “Chanandler Bong himself is rehearsing his play right next to my home.”
“He was!” Sophie exclaimed in response. She goes on to explain that she would see him outside smoking every day, so she decided to buy a lighter to do that ‘smooth’ thing and ask if she could light his cigarette for him.
*Spoiler* it was already lit and apparently the whole thing was a tad awkward. Which didn’t stop her from sending out the Tweet in what she admits was the vain hope Perry would see it and ask her out on a date.
Frankly, I’m kind of relieved he didn’t?
Sophie all addresses her love for Spongebob, Maisie Williams and the moment she realised stans actually knew who she was.
