In some lovely news, Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner has shared her co-star and onscreen sister Maisie Williams will be a maid of honour at her wedding to Joe Jonas.
After almost ten years of delighting/depressing/disturbing us on our telly screens, Turner and Williams – who starred as sisters Sansa Stark and Arya Stark respectively – are the best of mates.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Turner shared that she was a bit confused after Williams said she was thinking about what sort of fancy frock she’d wear to her wedding.
“I don’t know why she’s thinking about [what she’s wearing to my wedding]. I’m giving her the bridesmaid dress!” she told the publication. “She’s my maid of honour! One of two.”
Jonas and Turner, who have been dating since 2016, recently revealed they had planned an intimate summer wedding for later this year.
Stopping by The Late Late Show with James Corden a little while back, Jonas said he was “looking forward to the” toit nups. “It’s going to be a lot of fun,” he added.
As for the Stark sisters, you can catch them on the final season of Game of Thrones when it premieres in Australia on Monday, April 15.
The Thrones crew – minus Lena Headey – took to the red carpet in New York yesterday to celebrate the premiere of Thrones season eight. Stars from all seasons attended the bittersweet event including Emilia Clarke, Kit Harington, Rose Leslie, Jason Momoa, and Charles Dance.
Speaking of which, Jonas had to sign a bloody confidential agreement after spending too much time on the Thrones season eight set.
“Joe was on the set most of the time so he kind of figured it out and he was like, ‘Can you fill me [in]?’ and signed an NDN and everything so it’s all good.”
