There’s nothing more satisfying than an enduring mystery being solved at long last. While we might never know if Scott Morrison actually shidded his pantaloons at Engadine Macca’s in 1997, we do finally know the answer to another of the world’s great cold cases: whose coffee cup was left on the Game of Thrones set, resulting in this embarrassing viral moment?

GoT star Sophie Turner may be doing the press rounds for the new X-Men flick Dark Phoenix, but that didn’t stop late night host Conan O’Brien from quizzing her on the infamous caffeine-related incident from her last job.
And it seems Soph has really thought about it, launching her own deep investigation into whose errant cup made it into the biggest television show of all time. She’s pointing her accusatory finger at none other than Kit Harington. GASP.
Like any good armchair detective, Sophie has collected some pretty damning evidence. “First I blamed it on Emilia [Clarke], but I don’t think Emilia would do that,” Sophie told Conan, before adding: “Kit is lazy and I think he would have done that.”
“It was in front of Kit’s chair and then obviously he moved and this picture was taken and it looked like it was in my seat, but I wasn’t there either. It was Kit. It was a hundred percent Kit.”
The woman is sure, people. She says a hundred percent. She’s dying on this hill.
As for Kit, he’s currently receiving treatment for alcohol and stress related issues, but we’re hoping he releases a statement confirming or denying his involvement in the incident. We’ll keep you posted either way.
