Earlier this year, Game Of Thrones star Sophie Turner married Joe Jonas in a quickie ceremony in Las Vegas. There were rumours, though, that the Vegas wedding was for legal reasons and that the pair were planning a bigger, blowout wedding for later in the year, rumours that appear to have been confirmed by an appearance on The Graham Norton Show.
Sophie Turner appeared on a recent episode of the program with her X-Men: Dark Phoenix co-stars Jessica Chastain, Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy, but talk quickly turned to her relationship. A source told Us Weekly that the couple are planning a wedding in France in the northern summer, and Norton straight-up asked her about this.
“You are having a big party?” he asked. She responded “potentially”, and he persisted, saying: “Is that a secret? Not anymore! I didn’t sign anything. It’s in France! 15th of July! Just outside Montpellier.” He then admitted he had “no idea” about the actual specific date of the wedding, but she told him that he’d made a “pretty good guess.”
In a recent interview, the young actress revealed that she and Joe Jonas temporarily split up before their Vegas wedding, but that they quickly got back together. “It was the worst day of our lives,” she said of the split. “For a second we both had cold feet, and then 24 hours later, we were both like, never mind.”
