Australia’s Weirdest Unit Sam Simmons Sneakily Crashed A Live Weather Report

There is absolutely nothing funnier than standing in the background of a live news shot while pulling faces at the camera. Provided you don’t spend the entire time licking the reporter, it is the funniest shit imaginable. Sam Simmons, extremely funny man and incredibly weird unit, gets that. And after biding his time for his entire life, last night he finally got the opportunity to strike.

With Adelaide Fringe currently taking over the South Australian city, 7 News Adelaide sent weatherman Tim Noonan to the Garden of Unearthly Delights to interview magician Ben Hart while he pulled off a little trickery for the camera.

Unbeknownst to both of them, Simmons happen to drift into shot directly behind them for a little trickery of his own.

That’s the half-steely, half-far away gaze of an absolute champion, right there. You cannot teach that kind of poise, grace, and muntedness under fire.

Simmons has a very good reason to be in the thick of things at Adelaide Fringe too, as it turns out. He’s currently touring his new show 26 Things You’ve Been Doing Wrong across the country as we speak.
