Sam Simmons’ ostensibly awesome four part ABC sketch comedy series is called Problems. And boy does he have a few. The non-boring Ted Talker, stand up comedian and former triple j broadcaster deals with a variety of them in this promising first look at the series, which airs later this month on ABC TV. There’s feuding house insects, overzealous children and misplaced Christmas decorations. There’s also an anthropomorphic house pet played by a skinny Asian bro in a cat suit. Colour us intrigued. The series, created and written by and starring the comedian, also features Susie Porter, Gary Sweet and Bastardy doco subject Jack Charles and premieres 9pm Wednesday 21 November on ABC1.
