If you are trying to cash in on your famous friendship by secretly selling their photos, stop. That is a dick move. Don’t be a dick. Don’t be a giant cock for cash. Kay?
Famous person Ryan Reynolds has told GQ how one of his now-ex closest friends tried to sell photos of his and wife Blake Lively‘s now-6-month-old daughter James, including a super intimate one of the new family in the hospital delivery room:
“A guy that I’d known for my whole life, one of my closest friends growing up, he had been shopping pictures of my baby around.
“I kind of got in front of it, which is good. But it was a slightly dark period. A bad couple of weeks.
“It was like death. It was like one of those devastating things to find out.
“I mean, I don’t think he thought he would ever be caught. But it’s a pretty narrow group of people that I would send photos like that to. They’re just, like, my closest family and my closest friends: ‘Here’s us in the delivery room!’”
Reynolds says that this particular mate had asked for and been given cash so many times that eventually Reynolds was like ‘bruh, chill, no cheques for you‘, so all in all this dude already sounds like a Top Bloke with his Shit Together.
Reynolds has since cut this charming fellow out of his life for good.
“There isn’t really a conversation to have. It’s just, ‘Oh, well, now I’m never going to see you or talk to you again, unfortunately.’ That’s kind of how it works out.”
