JESUS H CHRIST. So, to preface this story – there’s a lot of celebrities yelling at each other rn, and Aussie actor and ‘Orange Is The New Black’ star Ruby Rose even jumped into the fray.
To give you a lil rundown:
- Kim Kardashian posts video of Taylor Swift on the phone to Kanye West, approving the lyric about her in his song ‘Famous’, which she previously denied that she had done.
- Swift accuses Kim and Kanye of ‘character assassination’.
- Chloë Grace Moretz throws her 2 cents in, subtweeting Kim/Kanye by calling them ‘petulant’ and saying that they need to pull their heads out and focus on real issues.
- Khloe Kardashian goes into lioness mode to protect her family (according to her, anyway), and tweets a grossly inappropriate photo of Chloë with her bather bottoms being pulling to the side, exposing her butt.
- Chloë denies that the photo is of her, claiming that Khloe has tweeted a photo of a 19-year-old anonymous girl.
- Ruby Rose tells Khloe off, saying that tweeting that photo was ‘awful’.
And so, here we are. God, that was exhausting just to *write*. These celebrities must get up very early in the morning to fit all of this shit into a single day.
Since that tweet a couple of days ago, media have written plenty of articles with eyeroll-worthy headlines like “Ruby Rose & Khloe Kardashian – FEUDING?!?!”, and Rose has now come out saying that she’s not having a bloody bar of it:
“Having different views and experiences doesn’t mean that person must become your enemy.Otherwise we are going to end up so filled with anger and hate this world will become hell on earth.”
She also pointed out that she’s been receiving a helluva lot of trolling and hatred since the comment, but advises people in the same position to become besties with the mute button:
And so, the enormous feud goes on, and the horrors of an endless war continue. But for those keeping score, pacifist Ruby Rose has officially relegated herself to the barracks.
