Ruby Rose Blowing Up Stateside, Set To Appear In Sci-Fi Series ‘Dark Matter’

Coming off the highly-acclaimed third season of Orange Is The New Black, your girl Ruby Rose is blowing up in the US right now, and as such, Australians can now smugly and correctly say we were on this bandwagon way before anybody else.
Today, it has been announced that Rose’s next role is a guest-starring spot on an episode of the SyFy network’s new “space thriller” Dark Matter, where she will play … a sexually assertive robot of some kind?
Per the plot description:
Rose will play Wendy, an entertainment android who was designed and built for fun. After she comes to life, she charms the ship’s crew with both her ability to cook and her sexual prowess – but something will go wrong. Very, very wrong.
Sure, we can get on board with that. Dark Matter is based on a popular series created by Dark Horse Comics, and Rose’s episode will air late July in the US. In the meantime, here’s a first look at Rose’s character:

Meanwhile, this morning, a random hater learned that it’s probably ideal not to call Ruby Rose an “Angelina wanna be”, especially not to her face:
