Although Spain took home the World Cup the real hero of the tournament was Paul the oracle octopus who successfully predicted the winner of eight consecutive games through his uncanny powerful of divination. Unfortunately Paul died today at the age of 2 years. Reports say he died of natural causes however fingers may be pointed at German soccer officials, after Paul and his minders received death threats upon accurately predicting their loss in the World Cup semi-finals.
