Reddit users have been sharing some wild stories in a thread that ended up on the front page of the popular website today and honestly, I can see why.
The thread is called “Band groupies that had sex with their idols, how did it affect the way you saw them afterwards?” and it does pretty much exactly what it says on the tin. At the time of writing, there were just over 9,300 replies.
Of course, there’s no real way to verify any of these stories, so a lot of them are probably fake, but that doesn’t make them any less entertaining, like Pitbull leaving his sunnies on while fucking.
“I knew a girl that slept with Pitbull probably 10 years ago. She said he never took his shades off, even when they had sex.”
If you ask me, that’s a real story. Pitbull would legitimately do that. There’s also a bunch of stories about fucking Tiesto.
“I know a two different girls who fucked Tiesto regularly. He would fly them out to Vegas and Miami on rotation. Guy was in his 40s, flying out 18-20 year olds. They liked traveling and he would fly their friends out too so they had company. One of then didn’t really see him as an idol, more as a free vacation every so often.”
Other stories paint the DJ in a different light.
“I have a friend of a friend that dated Tiesto. Amungst many of her other stories, the one I got a kick out of the most was when he cried asking her “would you still love me if I was The number 2 DJ in the world?” (At the time he was billboard ranked #1). His insecurity was confirmed when we met up with him after the show and while we were hanging out just shooting the breeze about normal every day stuff, he continuously asked us for reassurance/approval/etc (like if the seats were good enough, if his set was alright, if crystal was good enough for us). He didn’t seem like a bad guy or anything, and was very kind towards us but just constantly needing approval.”
But it’s not all about sex, either. Some people shared stories of kissing famous people or even dry-humping them.
“Not sex, but my mum was kissed by David Bowie at a concert in the UK in the 70’s. When he left everyone in the crowd started trying to kiss her, because his lips had just been on hers. She said it was a very sweet kiss.”
Something about that is kinda wholesome.
“Street musician here. I sucked face and dry-humped Joan Jett for an hour at a party in Forest Hills, Queens….1982. Tooted a few lines, puffed a doob….went for it.”
The thread also has some stories about a band called Rockbitch, who apparently chuck a gold condom into the crowd and take the person who catches it, male or female, backstage to have sex with one or more members of the band.
“Rockbitch, saw them in 98 at a local club, Guy I knew caught it. “Scariest sex of my life, mate…. Best, too!!” You’re a brave man Dexy.”
Classic Dexy. While a lot of the encounters end up changing the fan’s perception of the celebrity, others say they’ve remained largely the same.
“A girl I know banged Aaron Carter after a meet and greet. He is going through a tough time and I don’t think they have met since but I believe they still text sometimes. She still thinks he’s great, it fulfilled her childhood dream to meet him and sleep with him.”
And some stories ended with no sex at all.
“I had a friend that was singled out after a Prince concert by his security. They told her that Prince would like her company at his hotel. She grabs one of our other friends to go with her. Maybe as backup or maybe as a witness to the amazing things that are about to happen. Turns out when she gets to the room where all the security and crew are Prince had no intention of hanging out with her and then it became obvious that it was the security guard that liked her. She’s super bummed. Best part about it was the friend she brought along ended up sleeping with the security guard.”
But the biggest take away from this story should be that if you fuck John Mayer, you better be into piss.
“It was not me but within my sphere a girl hooked up with John Mayer like 10 years ago and he pissed on her afterwards.”
