‘Queer Eye’ Star Karamo Got Engaged & It’s All Too Much For The Heart

A lot has happened these past few days in the TV community. Tom from Queer Eye got re-married to beautiful Abby and I cried. Some dumb fuck signed off on the cancellation of Brooklyn Nine-Nine and I cried. Hulu might be throwing a life jacket at B99 and I cried. And 1/5 of the Fab Five, Karamo Brown, got engaged overnight and I cried some more.

Karamo, the man who can look you in the eye and see straight into your soul, proposed to his partner of eight years Ian Jordan in one hell of an emotional 38th birthday party for the director. Of course, the rest of the Fab Five were there with Tan France, especially, live-streaming the entire proposal on his Instagram so we could all ugly sob together.

In a post on Instagramthe culture expert wrote:

“Last night, in front of family & friends, I asked my best friend and the love of my life “will you marry me?” He said YESSS!!!!! I’m engaged!”

AWWWWW.

According to Entertainment TonightKaramo not only surprised Ian with the proposal, he also planned the surprise birthday party and made an adorable video dedicated to the love of his life before he got down on one knee. Karamo’s son also made his own speech prior to the proposal.

The engaged couple now wear a set of rings each. One band is silver, the other black.

As soon as people wiped away their tears, a swarm of congratulations overtook Karamo’s twitter including one from the official Queer Eye account:

Empire actor Jussie Smollett also tweeted out his congratulations in the sweetest message:

Chrissy Teigen also sent her love to which Karamo replied with a casual invite.

Yesterday, Tom Jackson, the man who kept saying “You can’t fix ugly” despite being the most beautiful soul went and and made us all utter unintelligible sounds of extreme happiness when he re-married his sweetheart Abby.

Tom proudly uploaded a plethora of pictures of the wedding day to his twitter and OH LOOK MORE TEARS:

Moral of the story? When in doubt, Queer Eye will come to the rescue.

Congratulations to the happy couples. <3
