As you might be aware, there are bucketloads of chatter around the ABC being privatised, after the Liberal Party federal council voted to do so. It’s fairly unlikely that’s going to happen – at least in the near future – thanks to the overwhelming support for Aunty remaining in public hands.
But what if they did? And what if, by extension, our beloved triple j was also flung to the wolves, forced to compensate as a commercial radio station? No need to wonder, because an ardent listener sent in an audio clip of exactly what that might sound like.
