Osher Had To Skip This Year’s ‘Bachelorette’ Finale As His Wife Went In To Labour

Osher Gunsberg has been a staple of the Aussie Bachelor and Bachlorette franchise since the very start, but when Angie Kent picks her man this week,  the handsome host won’t be there to see it.

That said, Osh had a very good reason for skipping this year’s pre-taped finale – his wife Audrey Griffen went into labour just as the final episodes were shooting, and he had to be there.

Speaking with The Sunday Telegraph, Osher explained that Audrey was having contractions seven minutes apart during the final days of filming, and was ready to give birth at any point.

The team rallied around him, and he explained:

“I was getting nervous while hanging around the mansion and my executive producer … took one look at me and said, ‘Osh, you can’t miss this. It will be the best day of your life, don’t worry we will make it happen.’”

He said that the production team “banded together” to figure out a way for the show to work without him there in the final moments, and that it was “odd” not to be there as in previous years.

Audrey Griffen and Osher Gunsberg welcomed their son Wolfgang, ake Wolfie, on August 23. In a heartfelt Instagram post, he said that he was “in complete awe” of her after giving birth.

I sure do love a good daddy:
