Miley Cyrus Reveals Her House Burned Down After Liam Hemsworth Made It Out

Miley Cyrus has taken to social media to announce that her Malibu home was among the thousands that have burned to the ground in the devastating wildfires.

The 25-year-old took to Instagram and Twitter to make the sad announcement, expressing her gratitude that her partner Liam Hemsworth and their pets made it out safe, writing:

“Completely devastated by the fires affecting my community. I am one of the lucky ones. My animals and LOVE OF MY LIFE made it out safely & that’s all that matters right now. My house no longer stands but the memories shared with family & friends stand strong. I am grateful for all I have left. Sending so much love and gratitude to the firefighters and LA country Sheriff’s department! If you are interested in getting involved see next tweet…. During an interview with Billboard following the release of her song ‘Malibu’, a love letter to both her fiancé and to the city itself, Miley revealed that the Aussie bought their home in 2014 while the couple was broken up, but when they got back together in 2016, she moved in with him.

Cyrus is currently out of town and was last seen on Wednesday in Cape Town, South Africa taking a selfie with Recycled Flip Flop Sculptures owner Davis Ndungu.

Her younger sister Noah Cyrus, however, recently shared a photo of herself giving supplies to a fire station in Calabasas.

“Went to give Calabasas’ brave firefighters some supplies. this is the first fire truck that was sent out to the fire. Thank you so much to not only the firemen of Calabasas but to every firefighter and to everyone who is working hard to keep people safe,” she tweeted.
