While the COVID-19 pandemic has meant that production on loads of shows and flicks have been put on hold, luckily for us it’s full steam ahead with the new season of MasterChef.
The premiere ep of the retooled Aussie cooking series dazzled audiences last night as a new set of judges brought with them a new vibe that punters seemed to love.
We were introduced to three brand spanking new judges, Aussie chef Jock Zonfrillo, food writer Melissa Leong, and former Masterchef winner Andy Allen, along with a surprise appearance from celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.
The new all stars format has welcomed back 24 of the best contestants from previous Masterchef seasons including Poh Ling Yeow, Hayden Quinn, Khanh Ong, Ben Ungermann, Reynold Poernomo and Callum Hann, to name a few.
Here’s what folks over on Twitter were saying about the premiere ep:
I’m hoping some of these dishes are things we can relate to in isolation…like maybe a pasta dish with sourdough bread served on a platter of toilet paper #MasterChefAU
