Marvel Entertainment has taken the liberty of reminding Avengers fans which of their favourites are dead, courtesy of new posters for the upcoming Avengers: Endgame.

A whole host of heroes murked by Thanos (Josh Brolin) by the end of Avengers: Infinity War have been given the promotional treatment, including Spider-Man (Tom Holland), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), and perennial Tumblr thirst target Loki (Tom Hiddleston).

Hiddleston himself broke his months-long Twitter silence to share the image, and you better believe his more fervent fans are going mad over the promise of more Asgardian goodness in the film.

Some are deadset convinced the trickster god will make an appearance in the upcoming flick, despite being canonically dead. Heaps dead, in fact.

We’d be remiss not to mention that in 2018, Hiddleston himself teased that Loki would be returning for a stand-alone Loki series. That hasn’t dampened the excitement for the potential of Loki appearing in the next film, though.

Of course, the series’ surviving heroes have also been granted their own promotional images. Better make use of Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) while he’s still part of the franchise, we guess.

Despite the release date touted by the posters, Avengers: Endgame hits Australian cinema screens on April 24.
