Macaulay Culkin (!) And Brenda Song (!!) Just Had A Baby & Holy Shit, I Feel Ancient Now

Macaulay Culkin

In wonderful news to kick off your Tuesday, Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin and his partner, Disney fave Brenda Song, have welcomed their first bb.

In an exclusive, albeit short, statement to Esquire, the new parents said they’re “overjoyed” with the arrival of their son, who was born last week. That was the statement: “We’re overjoyed.” Simple, straight to the point.

The couple named their son Dakota after Culkin’s sister, who died in 2008 after being struck by a car.

Macaulay and Brenda met on the set of Changeland (2019), a film set in Thailand and directed by Macaulay’s mate Seth Green.

Last February, Macaulay revealed to Esquire that he and Brenda were trying for a baby.

“We practice a lot,” he said. Classic.

“We’re figuring it out, making the timing work. Because nothing turns you on more than when your lady comes into the room and says, ‘Honey, I’m ovulating.’”

Macaulay is easily best known for his role in the Home Alone franchise, co-starring Catherine O’HaraJoe Pesci, and Daniel Stern.

He will appear in the upcoming American Horror Story season 10, alongside Sarah PaulsonKathy BatesBillie LourdEvan PetersAdina PorterLily RabeAngelica Ross, and Finn Wittrock. It’s a stacked cast, as always.

Series creator Ryan Murphy teased Macaulay’s part in the series in an Instagram post last month, writing: “Something wicked this way comes.”

He was pictured with series regular, Leslie Grossman.

Ryan hasn’t announced a release date just yet, but we’ll keep you updated. Alternatively, you can chuck the absolute horror whiz a follow on Instagram to keep up with his constant ideas of expanding the American Horror Story universe. Think aliens, Christmas horror (please, no), Bloody Mary (NO), Sirens, piggy men (???), and the plague.

Brenda, meanwhile, is most known for her truly iconic role as London Tipton in The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. According to her IMDb page, Brenda recently wrapped production on romantic flick, Love Accidentally.

Also, let us never forget Brenda’s 2019 Netflix thriller, Secret Obsession, that went absolutely viral for how messy it was. That was a time and a half.

A huge congratulations to the new parents and an even bigger welcome to the world to wee Dakota Song Culkin.
