Lisa Vanderpump Has Officially Quit ‘The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’

Lisa Vanderpump, the queen of rosé and small dogs, has confirmed the news that she is walking away from The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills, after nine seasons on the popular show.

The original housewife, who had several notable clashes with fellow cast members this year, told the Daily Mail that she’d be skipping the Season 9 reunion, which filmed this week.

This led many to speculate that she wouldn’t be returning, and when US Weekly asked her if she planned to leave the show, she said “yes”, adding:

“I made the decision to leave. It was a very difficult year for me, personally and professionally. I had wonderful things happen this year, opening up TomTom and The Cocktail Garden in Vegas. The Housewives, it’s just, it’s emotionally too difficult to deal with.”

Much of this year’s Lisa Vanderpump drama revolved around the infamous Puppygate scandal, in which cast-mate Dorit Kemsley gave away a rescue dog called Lucy Lucy Apple Juice.

Fellow cast-member Lisa Rinna threatened her with a lawsuit over a proposed spinoff show, and she famously missed Bravo daddy Andy Cohen‘s A Star Is Born-themed baby shower.

Lisa Vanderpump is one of only two Beverly Hills housewives to have stuck it out from the very beginning, the other being Kyle Richards.

She will now focus her efforts on her restaurant empire and charitable work, as well as her wildly popular spin-off show, Vanderpump Rules.
