So, after all that ~hullabaloo~ over the news that Lamar Odom and Khloé Kardashian are not technically divorced yet due to an “extreme backlog” in the courts, they’ve now decided to scrap the divorce altogether.
Lamar signed the papers from his hospital bed, and Khloé’s lawyer Laura Wasser asked a judge on Wednesday morning to withdraw the papers. The file is now dead, done, caput.
Look, it’s pretty damn presumptuous to speculate on what goes on in the marriage of two people we’ve never met – we’re well aware of that – but it’s a fair guess to say that it *might* be in order to allow Khloé to continue making medical decisions for Lamar, in case anything goes wrong.
The pair filed for divorce in December 2013, but Khloé put it off for 18 months in the hope that Lamar would go to rehab, and they could save their marriage. Two months ago she gave up, and lodged the paperwork.
In other (happier?) news, it’s been reported that since Lamar arrived at Los Angeles via medical helicopter on Monday night, he has taken a few steps in hospital. YEWW.
