ICYMI our earlier story, troubled professional basketballer Lamar Odom is fighting for his life after being found unconscious in a brothel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
TMZ have reported Odom was “partying with the girls for days” at Dennis Hof’s Love Ranch before he was found unconscious, with “mucus-type liquid coming out of his nose and mouth.”
Lamar’s previously-estranged father Joe Odom (their reconciliation was the subject of a couple of episodes of axed E! reality show Khloe & Lamar) found out about his son’s condition via the media, and now believes he was drugged – despite a very public substance battle, which ex-wife Khloé Kardashian has always blamed as the catalyst for their divorce.
Joe told Hollywood Life:
“Somebody drugged my son. There’s no way he’s down there partying crazy like that. No way. I knew something was wrong because I’ve been calling him all day and he hasn’t been answering. I’m depressed right now — this is messed up! What can I do right now? That’s my son. I’m really hurt right now. This is the first time I’m hearing about it. Let’s give this some time. I pray that he will come out of this. I need all his fans to send him well wishes.”
Joe also appealed to Khloe to get in touch.
“If Khloe knows anything about this, please, tell her to call me. We all love Lamar and want him to pull through this.”
While there have been reports Lamar, 35, is now brain dead, nothing has been confirmed by authorities or his rep.
He remains in a critical condition at Sunrise Hospital, with sources reporting Khloé is on her way to his bedside with mum Kris and sister Kim.
