Following Selena Gomez‘s hospitalisation due to what’s been reported by TMZ as an “emotional breakdown,” a source has revealed via People that her ex Justin Bieber is devastated by the news because, wait for it, “he is not over Selena.”
“This was his first great love and while he was young and traveling around the world as a superstar, he learned a great deal from her,” says the source, adding that her hospitalisation is taking a toll on the Biebs.
The 26-year-old songstress was reportedly hospitalised twice over the past few weeks, once for a low white blood cell count and also for dialectical behaviour therapy after suffering a panic attack.
“He was extremely upset over what has happened to Selena,” the insider explains. “He feels like she is part of his life and he wants her to be happy and healthy.”

Another source told the publication that he “may or may not” be regretting getting hitched to Baldwin and FFS.
“He may or may not have made a mistake with his recent marriage but he was extremely upset over what has happened to Selena,” says the source. “He feels like she is part of his life and he wants her to happy and healthy.”
This update comes just a few days after another insider told Us Weekly that Justin “doesn’t feel whole” after marrying Hailey. “He has so much going for him but he doesn’t feel whole,” the source said, adding that “he’s not OK.”
