Human Rainbow Jonathan Van Ness Is Coming Back To Aus So Start Sniffing Out Those Tix

JVN

Queer Eye grooming guru, self-care bastion, podcast magnate and author Jonathan Van Ness is coming back to Australia and New Zealand for a stand-up show like no other.

Titled ‘Imaginary Living Room Olympian’, the show is JVN’s second worldwide comedy tour — and this one’s hand-jumping into their love of gymnastics. Expect dance routines, stunning floor work and tales from their storied life, so basically three iconic shows at one. Do we love it??

JVN announced the shows via a hyped video featuring a pirouette, claps, and an Aussie accent. Safe to say they’re pretty excited!

If you only know JVN from Queer Eye, you’re missing out. Beyond being a continual delight online, the non-binary haircare expert hosts their own podcast Getting Curious with Jonathan Van Ness, where they interview superstars like Molly Shannon and ask experts big questions like, “why is olive oil so extra?”.

The hit podcast, which has been running since 2015 (AKA way before Queer Eye) even nabbed JVN a solo Netflix show of the same name. They’ve also written two memoirs and just launched a gender-neutral haircare range called JVN. What can’t they do? Maybe a handspring, but we’ll find out.

Grab your finest leotard and Jesus-like wig, and get ready for a night of gymnastics and humour from the unofficial heart of Queer Eye. They’ll be hitting up Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane this September, with a stop in Auckland in October. You can find all the dates below – tickets are on sale now, so snatch them up via tegdainty.com.

Don’t miss out: with JVN as beloved as they are, tickets will go faster than the haircare guru transforms the heart and soul of a repressed straight man.
