Hennys, can you BELIEVE? Queer Eye angel and all around fabulous human Jonathan Van Ness is bringing his live comedy show to Australia. Can I get a YASSSS, please?
You’d know this if you follow JVN on Instagram (and if you’re not, please do so right away because his content is a daily gift), but his show Jonathan Van Ness: Road To Beijing revolves around his lifelong quest to become a master figure skater in time for the Beijing Winter Olympics in 2022.
In between shooting for Netflix’s ridiculously popular Queer Eye, recording his podcast Getting Curious and writing his upcoming memoir Over the Top, JVN’s been taking the Road To Beijing show on the road, and that road will lead Down Under (and next door to NZ) in early 2020.
The dates are:
Sunday 16 February — Civic Theatre, Auckland
Tuesday 18 February — Christchurch Town Hall, Christchurch
Thursday 20 February — Great Hall, Brisbane
Friday 21 February — AEC Theatre, Adelaide
Saturday 22 February — Plenary Theatre, Melbourne
Tuesday 25 February — Riverside Theatre, Perth
Friday 28 February — First State Super Theatre, Sydney (formerly ICC Sydney Theatre)
