Pants will be well and truly soiled and nightmares will be concocted upon viewing this year’s most promising thriller, “Black Mass“, starring an absolutely terrifying Johnny Depp as the notorious US gangster and convicted murderer of 19, Whitey Bulger.
Directed by Scott Cooper (‘Crazy Heart’, ‘Out of the Furnace’), the trailer alone reeks of Johnny Depp Oscar bait – the physical transformation alone of Depp (that hair, those eyes, them teeth) will no doubt be enough to snag a nom come Awards Season.
Most importantly, however, can we all join in a moment of silence out of respect for Adam Scott’s luscious ‘mo, which also features in the film.
‘Black Mass’ stars Johnny Depp, Joel Edgerton, Benedict Cumberbatch, Dakota Johnson, Kevin Bacon and Peter Sarsgaard. It’s due for release later this year.

The true story of Whitey Bulger, the brother of a state senator and the most infamous violent criminal in the history of South Boston, who became an FBI informant to take down a Mafia family invading his turf.
