Here is the first trailer for The Tourist starring Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie, a powerful, quietly unsettling thriller constructed of hidden thoughts and secret desires… Actually that Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck’s other movie The Lives of Others which won the director the Best Foreign Language Film Oscar in 2007. His follow up movie has Angelina Jolie as a sumptuous mystery babe and Johnny Depp as an awkward tourist who finds himself come a cropper of some sticky situations with armed officials after he’s spotted hanging with her. Cue hijinks in Venice.
The Tourist also stars Paul Bettany, Timothy Dalton, and Rufus Sewell. It hits theaters on December 10th.
