There are plenty of men alive, too many some might say, but only one of them can be the sexiest at any one time, and right now, that man is John Legend.
People bestowed the title of Sexiest Man Alive on the singer yesterday, praising him for “using his voice for good” while raising a cute-as-hell little family.
On being told about the honour, John Legend said:
“I was excited, but I was a little scared at the same time because it’s a lot of pressure. Everyone’s going to be picking me apart to see if I’m sexy enough to hold this title. I’m [also] following Idris Elba, which is not fair and is not nice to me!”
He was right about that, because oh boy, do people have some TAKES on this. Shark Tank‘s Barbara Corcoran, for one, came through with an absolutely wild one:
Predictably, though, the best and purest reaction of all came from his own wife Chrissy Teigen, who wasted no time changing her Twitter bio to “currently sleeping with people’s sexiest man alive.”
She is clearly making the most of being married to John Legend, and as of several days ago, was itching to tell people the big news:
