In these times of great uncertainty, with conflict welling up in the world’s troubled hot spots, there is at least thing we know for sure – the images on Jennifer Lopez‘s gilded thirst trap of an Instagam feed are all 100% authentic.
Celebrities regularly get called out for fudging their Insta shots with a bit of the old Photoshop, whether it’s Britney Spears chilling by an oddly-misshapen pool or Lindsay Lohan posing in front of a very wobbly-looking staircase.
Yesterday, when Lopez posted a typically #flawless mirror selfie, a number of Instagram users latched onto a blurry spot near her back and claimed that the image had been edited.
J-Lo was not having a bloody bar of it, and crept into her own comments thread to set them straight, then reposted a screenshot of her message on her Instagram story to make sure everyone would see it.
“Omg … Just a smudge on the mirror … lol … not Photoshop,” she wrote, along with the hashtags “#lordblessthehaters #gymrat #youshouldtryit and #wishtherewasphotoshopforhaters.
So there you have it, folks, you can rest easy, because at least in regards to this one vitally important news story, we have certainty and closure.
