Jared Leto is getting set to play the title role in the upcoming Marvel vampire movie Morbius, and he recently posted a video of himself making a series of very weird faces while shaving his beard off, because of course he did. In the video, shared to his Twitter, he says “fuck it” then begins attacking his facial hair with a set of clippers before finally shaving himself clean. You can check it out below:

Morbius is set to be part of Sony‘s Marvel Universe, which exists as an adjunct to Disney‘s Marvel Cinematic Universe for complicated licensing reasons. Morbius is set to follow on from this year’s Tom Hardy vehicle Venom, which was a big hit, exceeding box office expectations and guaranteeing that a sequel is on the way. Per this film’s official plot description:
Biochemist Michael Morbius tries to cure himself of a rare blood disease, but he inadvertently infects himself with a form of vampirism instead.
Jared Leto has a number of comic book movies ahead of him over the next few years, and is set to reprise his role as The Joker in the upcoming Suicide Squad 2, as well as Margot Robbie‘s stand-alone Harley Quinn movie and his own solo Joker flick. He’s also rumoured to star in an upcoming Tron sequel, which would be the third in the series.
