Jai Courtney Says ‘Suicide Squad’ Cast Are Keen & Hopin’ For A Sequel

Jai Courtney, the Aussie actor who plays [EDIT: #1] low-rent Tom Hardy [EDIT: #2] an ocker-as-hell alcoholic thief ‘Captain Boomerang’ in the new ‘Suicide Squad’ movie has dropped a fly-by bombshell.
The film, which has been savagely panned by critics and kind of, sort of, tepidly liked by audiences, still managed to break opening weekend records despite the insanely negative early reception.
And so, while the many who hated the movie beg for mercy and reprive, talk of a sequel has already entered conversation.
Courtney said the following in an interview:
“Yeah, we’re all around for a few movies, should they choose to make them, and I hope so.

I’m having way too much fun to think about letting this go anytime soon.”
And while this may just be a positively-worded way of saying ‘Please once again hire me and give me lots of money to play a beer-swilling bogan with very few lines and a dramatically over the top Australian accent’, we suppose he *does* mention the rest of the cast too.
So, looks like we might well be looking at a round 2. Please donate now to crowdfund the cost of a ‘How to develop an engaging plot’ class for David Ayer.
