This year’s $200k-plus Oscars gift bag included vape pens and vouchers for ‘vampire breast lift’ procedures, while its also-pretty-fancy Grammys counterpart included a 24k gold facial, and enough activewear to clothe all of Taylor Swift‘s assistants.
The 58th TV Week Logie Awards are happening tonight, and presenters, performers and nominees at the event can expect to walk away with a not-as-impressive but still-somewhat-impressive $1400 worth of #swag.
Amongst other things, the bags contain a cookie in the shape of a Gold Logie statue, for all the bitter losers in the ‘Best Personality’ category to eat when Lee Lin Chin romps home with the award.
Nominees will get free ski lessons and gear hire at Mt Baw Baw Resort, deluxe entry to IceBar Melbourne, and a trip on the Melbourne Star, because a view of the beautiful Melbourne skyline from a ferris wheel will totally soothe the pain of losing to Lee Lin Chin.
The bags also contain a selection of cosmetic products to help Logie nominees fix their unsightly and disgusting bodies, including a teeth whitening pen, hair care treatments, a hydrating moisturiser and an anti-cellulite scrub.
There are vouchers for Simone Perele lingerie, cufflinks, sterling silver duo pearl stud earrings, and Happy Pills, which are pills containing inspirational quotes, a real thing that exists because we are all in the most privileged 0.001% of people who have ever lived.
