Here’s The Premiere Of The First Trailer For The New Bond Film, “Spectre”

You’ve seen the teaser and short little spots and whatnot. But the full-length trailer for Spectre – the 24th and latest film in the James Bond chronology – is finally here, debuting globally a mere matter of moments ago.

Spectre is Daniel Craig‘s third film in the suit of the iconic Bond – and, in fact, his first role full stop since the previous Bond film Skyfall was released in 2012. The film also represents director Sam Mendes‘ second tilt at the helm of the Bond franchise.
The new film sees long-time Bond opposers SPECTRE – the Special Executive for Counter-Intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge, and Extortion – return to the screen for the first time since 1971’s Diamonds Are Forever. The underground terrorist organisation serves as the film’s chief protagonist, in a plot that follows on from the events leading to the attack on Mi6 that was featured in Skyfall.
Alongside Craig is a cast of familiar returning faces, such as Ralph Fiennes as M, Ben Whishaw as Q, Rory Kinnear as Bill Tanner, and Naomie Harris as Moneypenny. The film will see Christoph Waltz, Monica Bellucci, Léy Seydoux, and Dave Bautista all join the cast.

The verdict? Yep. This looks pretty goddamned awesome. If it’s half as good as Skyfall was, it’ll be a bloody good time.

Spectre is due for release in Australia on November 12th.
