Hayden Christensen Will Play Darth Vader In The Obi-Wan Kenobi Spin-Off & Somebody Pls Hold Me

Hayden Christensen

Holy shit, you guys, Hayden Christensen will play Darth Vader in the new Obi-Wan Kenobi series for Disney+. Holy shit.

Hayden Christensen is returning to the Star Wars universe, I can’t believe it.

Christensen will reprise his role as Anakin Skywalker, turned Darth Vader. Look, I don’t know how this is going to work, but I’m excited to see what happens. Like, will we get to see his face. Probably not. What’s the go? Will there be flashbacks? What the hell is going on.

Anyway, shock aside, fellow prequels actor and the man himself, Ewan McGregor, has reprised his role as the Jedi Master in the series, which is set ten years after Revenge of the Sith.

Look, look, LOOK.

The six-episode limited series is expected to start filming in March of 2021, after being delayed due to the – you guessed it – pandemic.

According to Variety, the series will costar Genevieve O’Reilly, Stellan Skarsgard, Kyle Soller, Denise Gough, and Adria Arjona.

Speaking to Graham Norton last month, McGregor teased that the series won’t focus entirely on him.

“It’s not all [about] me. But it certainly will be a lot of me, which is good! We start shooting it in March of next year,” he said.

There’s yet to be an exact release date for Obi-Wan Kenobi, but we’ll keep you updated.

In the meantime, a new episode of The Mandalorian will drop on Disney+ tonight. You’ll want to tune into this one, because [REDACTED] is on their way to [REDACTED] [REDACTED].

It’s all happening, folks.
