Hannah Gadsby’s Landmark Show ‘Nanette’ Has Its First Netflix Trailer

Hannah Gadsby’s landmark comedy show Nanette will hit Netflix on June 19, the streaming giant has announced.

The show, which was originally intended to be the Tassie comedian’s last bout before retiring from comedy, has launched her into international superstardom thanks to its unique and fearless take on queerness, isolation, and homophobia.

After crushing its debut at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, the show notched Best Show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and its huge run in New York City has been extended repeatedly.

The version which will hit your screens was filmed a little closer to home – the Sydney Opera House – and Netflix has shared a lil’ teaser before its premiere.

We’d recommend settling in with a cuppa, too.
