HOOLEY DOOLEY, MATES. THIS IS NOT A DRILL.
Ilana Glazer, she of the hugely beloved and extremely excellent Broad City, is officially heading our way for a very special one-night-only stand-up comedy show in Melbourne. And it’s casually happening in just over three weeks.
The Melbourne Arts Centre has unveiled their full program for their upcoming MEL&NYC spectacular, and among the many (seriously, many) highlights is a very special performance from Broad City‘s baddest bitch.
Glazer will be making her Australian stand-up debut on Saturday, June 9th at the beautiful Hamer Hall, with today’s surprise announcement also coinciding with the fact that tickets are on sale right sodding now.

Glazer is serving as the headline performer of MEL&NYC; a sprawling series of events exhibitions that “exchanges the ideas and stories of two cities that inspire creativity and innovation through theatre, dance, live music, talks, performance, dining and community-led events.”
Glazer’s appearance at Hamer Hall comes one day after fellow New Yorker Regina Spektor graces the stage on Friday, July 8th.
