Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed her engagement to partner Brad Falchuk, using a cover of her own dang magazine to spruik the blessed news.
Taking to social media to share the announcement, Paltrow adorned her posts with the diamond ring emoji in lieu of flashing a giant stone on the Goop Magazine cover (after all, it is a longstanding Goop tradition to put rocks in interesting places).
In a statement provided to Good Morning America, the actress and wellness juggernaut said “we feel incredibly lucky to have come together at this juncture in our lives when our collective successes and failures can serve as building blocks for a healthy and happy relationship.”
That genuinely sweet sentiment comes after a few years of dating. The pair met on the set of Glee in 2014, which Falchuk co-created, and on which Paltrow was a regular guest star.
The relationship also appears to have the blessing of Paltrow’s one-time husband Chris Martin, as evidenced by a pally photo taken late last year.
Good on Paltrow and Falchuk for consciously un-un-coupling, tbh.
