Eps Of Attenborough’s ‘Planet Earth II’ Are Comin’ To Your Snapchat Feed

Remember when that baby iguana escaped an actual pack of snakes on the Planet Earth II docos? It was some deadset riveting television.

Phwoa
If you’re a fan of this flavour of real-world motherfucking drama – which you absolutely should be after witnessing the animal kingdom’s most intense version of a car chase – then you’ll pleased to know more content is coming, but probably not how you’d expect.
Snapchat and the BBC are joining forces to bring you six mobile episodes of Planet Earth II that will stream on the platform starting February 17, one day ahead of the full series which is yet to air on American TV.
While the episodes will largely cover the same topics from the TV series, there will be content included that’s exclusive to Snapchat.
Unfortunately, the mobile episodes won’t be narrated by Sir David Attenborough and will not be available in 4K (duh). Actress Sophie Okonedo will step up to the narration plate in David’s place.
You’ll get a fresh, crispy new episode every week and each one will run for about 4 to 6 minutes. As you’d expect, they’ll appear in the Discover section of the app or you can subscribe to Planet Earth II via their QR code.
While you’re at it, how about a cheeky add for us? You know you want to.
