After surviving a crippling case of the flu, dancing joy distributor Ellen Degeneres has finally touched down in Australia today for her much-hyped Oprah-like journey with a 400-strong entourage of audience members.
Powered by the immune-boosting magic ingredients of Swisse Vitamins, Ellen and her Australian born wife Portia di Rossi bounded into the Sydney Airport general arrivals hall (just like you and me!) to greet the delighted hordes of Australian fans, before heading off for a ferry ride to Taronga Zoo. Ellen is definitely going to have a little fun today-ay!
Ellen’s Australian itinerary hasn’t been released but is rumoured to include an audience with Prime Minister Julia Gillard to discuss marriage equality and a drink at a pub in Geelong where Portia grew up.
