A slew of teaser images for the new Matt Groening project Disenchantment have arrived, showcasing a radical departure in style for The Simpsons and Futurama creator.
No, it’s not because the show is set in a fairy-tale world. It’s because Bean, the human princess played by Abbi Jacobson, has four fingers and a thumb.
The two figures joining her, the demon Luci (Eric Andre) and green-skinned companion Elfo (Nat Faxon), also get some shine in the new images. Note: they both sport a more traditional number of digits for the Groening canon.
Disenchantment is slated to follow the booze-swilling Bean as she copes with a disintegrating medieval realm.
