Demi Lovato has taken to Instagram to share an unedited photo of herself in a bikini, saying that she did so in order to display her cellulite and thereby confront her own fears about her body.
Back in May, the singer posted a series of pics of her in a bikini while on vacation in Bora Bora. Today, however she admitted that those images were edited, and she feels bad about it.
“I’m just literally sooooo tired of being ashamed of my body, editing it [so] that others think I’m THEIR idea of what beautiful is, but it’s just not me,” she said in the post.
She continued:
“This is what I got. I want this new chapter in my life to be about being authentic to who I am rather than trying to meet someone else’s standards. So here’s me, unashamed, unafraid and proud to own a body that has fought through so much and will continue to amaze me when I hopefully give birth one day.”

Demi Lovato recently got back into TV and film and TV acting, and filmed a guest appearance for the upcoming third season of the Will & Grace reboot.
She also said that she is back in the studio and “working on an anthem”, so I guess we’ll get to hear the results of that at some point soon, also.
