The success of Deadpool‘s viral marketing campaign probably means that, a year from now, every half-baked superhero film will be promoting itself via ‘irreverent’, fourth wall-breaking stunts, and it’s going to be exhausting.
For now, though, we still get to enjoy videos like the below, in which Ryan Reynolds responds to the popular Change.org petition to have Deadpool host Saturday Night Live in character.
The video rips on Kanye‘s recent backstage SNL tantrum, and sees Deadpool listing the things that he considers to be less influential than himself.
Long story short, it doesn’t appear that Deadpool will be hosting the show any time soon, but if this convinces SNL to let Ryan Reynolds to do so before the season is out, we’ll be content:
