Beautiful man David Harbour, otherwise known as Chief Jim Hopper, officiated a fan’s wedding over the weekend fulfilling a promise he made earlier this year.

Harbour didn’t just officiate the wedding, he officiated it in full Stranger Things uniform – hat and all.
Back in January the soon to be married @ErickaElizabth sent out a tweet into the void asking what it would take to get Harbour to be the officiant at her September wedding.
What would it take to get @DavidKHarbour to be the Officiant at my wedding in September?!

Immediately, Twitter’s good side shone and the single tweet received almost 100,000 retweets capturing Harbour’s attention.
And how did he reply? With a list of exactly what it takes to get him to officiate one’s wedding.
125k retweets. Provided date works with s3 shooting schedule, I will get ordained and perform ceremony. I get to read an esteemed love letter of my choosing, and after the cake is officially cut, I get the very first piece.

Even though the original tweet didn’t reach the 125,000 goal it needed, Harbour – the sweetheart – still made a dream come through.
AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.
Hey internet. I know it’s been awhile. I retreated. Needed some space. You probably get it. But I’ve been thinking about ya in the interim. And all your retweets. And so me and some fun folks in Springfield, Illinois made good on our promise we made all those months ago. pic.twitter.com/fZK8zNMQSi

A couple of lucky guests at the wedding scored pictures with the man including Twitter user @StevenoginnGinn (amazing username) who wrote: “It was awesome meeting you and thank you so much for making Erica’s wedding so incredible!!”

As for the next season of Stranger Things, you can expect it to hit the streaming service in mid-2019.
In the meantime, you can catch season one and two of the series on Netflix.
I don’t know what’s going on but I love it.
