Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt are both so fancy – a fact that, per the above image, we’ll assume you already know. The only thing better than enjoying your two favourite people separately is enjoying them together, and in what may be the best news all weekend, you may soon have the chance to do just that.
MTV News report that the pair are in talks to star in an upcoming sci-fi movie, Passengers, directed by Morten Tyldum of The Imitation Game. While a more serious, dramatic role for Andy Dwyer would be awesome, TBH, we’re also having a hard time even coping with the visual of J-Law in space.
Because oh, yeah, did we mention? It’s set in space. Per the plot synopsis:
Passengers is set on a spacecraft in the future, with thousands of passengers making an interstellar voyage to a distant new planet. One passenger awakens from cryogenic sleep 90 years before anyone else and decides to wake up a female passenger, sparking the beginning of a love story.
Earlier this year, we closed our eyes really tight and wished for an awesome Ghostbusters cast, and then lo and behold, an awesome Ghostbusters cast materialised. We don’t want to jinx Passengers too much by saying we really want a Pratt-Lawrence pairing to happen, but we really want it to happen, dammit.
