Chris Hemsworth In Talks To Don The Suit For A Huge ‘Men In Black’ Reboot

Chris Hemsworth has spent a large part of his Hollywood career portraying an alien for Marvel’s Cinematic Universe, but it seems his next role could be as a regular human tasked with policing extra-terrestrials on Earth.

That’s right, baby. Hemsworth is reportedly close to starring in the upcoming Men In Black spin-off.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hemsworth is in the mix to handle the revitalised franchise, which has an expected premiere date of June 14, 2019.

That’s plenty of time to lock down the 34-year-old and a hard-nosed partner; god knows every sugar needs its water, and every Will Smith needs his Tommy Lee Jones. THR states the film could potentially feature a diverse ensemble cast, throwing the door wide open in terms of co-stars.

FWIW, the publication points out neither of those two are slated to return to the franchise. Executive producer Steven Spielberg will make a return though, lending just a little of that beloved blockbuster sheen.
