Celeb Fans Are Frothing On Aussie Comedy Icon Celeste Barber’s First Mag Cover

You may have heard of Celeste Barber. She’s an Australian actor and comedian who’s made her name doing absolutely impeccable parodies of the truly ridiculous shit that ends up on Instagram courtesy celebrities, models and “influencers”, to the tune of 5.4 million delighted followers.

I mean, look:

Magnificent.

The icon’s star has been on the rise ever since she started her Instagram reign of lols, garnering among her fans the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow and Rosie Huntington-Whitely – both of whom she regularly takes the piss out of.

She’s published a book (Challenge Accepted!), has walked the runway for none other than Tom Ford, and now, she’s scored her first cover shoot courtesy of InStyle magazine.

It’s a huge deal, and in case you weren’t convinced, just cop a look at the celebrity freak-outs happening in the comments of her triumphant Instagram post:

Praise has poured in from the likes of Marion Cotillard, fitness icon Tracy Anderson, Busy Philipps, Queer Eye fave Tan France, long-time fans Gwyneth Paltrow and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, fellow Aussie royalty Rose Byrne and Turia Pitt, and fearless champion Jameela Jamil – no means an exhaustive list, either.

What can we learn from Barber’s phenomenal popularity among celebs? Probably that even the rich and out of touch like to have a laugh, even – nay, especially! – if it’s at themselves. And according to the InStyle feature, it probably doesn’t hurt that Celeste Barber is one helluva nice lady. Congrats on the well-earned success, you hilarious minx!
