They say imitation is the greatest form of flattery and all that, but celebs don’t seem to enjoy having their Instagram posts picked apart. First, there were the celebs coming after Melbourne-based IG page, @celeb_spellcheck for merely correcting their spelling errors. Now, Aussie comedian Celeste Barber has revealed that she’s been blocked by a celeb over her social media posts.

Celeste is known for recreating batshit pics and vids shared by actresses, models, singers and influencers.

Celeste recently appeared on actress Jameela Jamil’s iWeigh podcast where she said that her intention is just to “make people laugh.”

“I only use photos that they post, it’s not like I have a drone going into Miley Cyrus’ backyard. If it’s a paparazzi photo, I won’t use it,” she said.

She added that “people have blocked and are not into it,” which she reckons is fair enough, but her intention isn’t to offend anyone.
