On the heels of her first-ever magazine cover, Celeste Barber is right back at it with her #CelesteChallengeAccepted. But this time, instead of recreating someone else’s lewk, Barber has gone and done her own.
On Valentine’s Day, the Aussie comedian fronted the cover of the latest InStyle Australia issue for a feature declaring her ‘The Real Deal’.
Barber has amassed a bloody massive following (5.4 million Instagram followers and counting) since she kicked things off in 2015. Her Celeste Challenge, in which she hilariously recreates some extra as hell model and celebrity poses, has led to her very own book titled Challenge Accepted!, sold-out comedy tours across the United States, and a campaign with American fashion designer Tom Ford for New York Fashion Week 2018.
“When no bitch is safe,” she captioned the post with, of course, the hashtags #celestechallengeaccepted, #celestebarber, and #funny.
Check out those saucy Crocs.
In her feature, Barber talks about her “#hothusband” Api Robin, her campaign with Ford, and her open-heart surgery. Of the latter, Barber revealed she “nearly died” and described the recovery as “like nothing else”.
“The idea that my heart had been cut open…really got to me. It took months to get over,” she told InStyle.
Swipe, swipe, swipe.
